Air Temperature: Warmish
Sea Temperature: Surprisingly warm
Weather: Mostly cloudy

Distance Covered:

Took the day off and got down early so I could be rigged and ready to go as soon as the tide was in. Dithered over the 4.7 but went for the 5.5 which was the right choice. Planing pretty much constantly, sometimes a bit overpowered, rarely underpowered until about 4 o'clock when the wind started to fade. This coincided with a distinct lack of water so finally knocked it on the head.

Gybes? Well some worked and some didn't. The main thing is that it was nice and warm when they didn't. A few jumps off the small ramps. Otherwise it was just long runs.

Loads of people out including a couple of mates from work and a couple of Margaritenos. Nice sociable vibe. No down side, but can't give it a 5* 'cos this is getting to be the norm. Isn't life great?
